On November 7–8, 2024, Shanghai Chenzhu Instrument Co., Ltd., in collaboration with its strategic partner, the TÜV SÜD Plant Operational Safety Business Unit (referred to as “TÜV SÜD”), hosted the Certified Machinery Risk Evaluator (CMRE) Training Course at its headquarters. This specialized program was designed to equip electrical and safety engineers from industries such as petrochemicals, fine chemicals, heavy machinery, robotics, automotive equipment, and advanced welding with vital expertise.
The increasing drive toward international markets has significantly accelerated the growth of automation safety within China’s manufacturing sector. As a global manufacturing leader, China faces the challenge of aligning its traditional enterprises with Europe's CE standards—widely regarded as the gold standard for safety and compliance in production. This training course offered a comprehensive introduction to the CE certification process, addressing critical aspects of machinery compliance.
During the course, Shanghai Chenzhu highlighted its flagship product—the CZSC Compact series safety controllers. Participants engaged in practical exercises, configuring systems that integrated safety inputs, controllers, and actuators. Using SISTEMA software, they calculated the performance levels of safety circuits. Interactive case studies led by TÜV SÜD instructors further enhanced their understanding of the Machine Guarding 6 KPIs, equipping them with hands-on skills to improve machinery safety and compliance.
